Cherry
Tart cherries are usually the easy ones: they are self-fertile, though another tart cherry can still improve fruit set. Sweet cherries are more demanding and often need a specific sweet cherry partner.
Sweet cherry pollination is most dependable when trees are within about 50 feet. Tart and sweet cherries should not be treated as interchangeable pollinizing partners.
