Hull Thornless
Same fruit type
Blooms in the same window. Zone fit is unknown or not a major tie-breaker here.
Why choose this?
Hull Thornless is sweet with just enough acidity to stay lively, with medium-firm flesh and large fruit. In this group, it gives some of the largest fruit and feels more substantial than most of the others shown. Choose it for high-volume fresh eating, freezing, and processing where total harvest weight matters more than peak flavor, but skip it if you want maximum flavor - Hull Thornless produces abundantly but Triple Crown or Apache surpass it on taste. It usually ripens around mid July to early August, earlier than most of the others shown.
