Apache
Same fruit type
Blooms close enough to overlap in many home plantings. Zone fit is unknown or not a major tie-breaker here.
Why choose this?
Apache is lightly sweet with a definite tart edge, with firm, dense flesh and large fruit. In this group, this brings more acidity and bite than most of the others shown. Choose it for fresh eating and any planting where flavor is the top priority alongside ease of harvest, but skip it if you want cold-climate zones below 6 - Apache is best in zones 6 to 9. It usually ripens around mid July to early August, later than most of the others shown.
